公共卫生学院流行病与卫生统计学教授、系主任，博士生导师。全球健康研究院慢性病预防控制研究所执行所长。曾在国外多个一流大学访学（美国德克萨斯大学、澳大利亚悉尼大学、荷兰瓦赫宁根大学、英国利物浦热带病学院、英国牛津大学、美国哈佛大学公共卫生学院等）或开展合作研究。

主持过国家自然科学基金三项，主持省级基金、国际合作基金、横向合作课题多项；作为第二负责人参与国家自然科学基金重点项目一项（围孕期微营养素干预对先天性心脏病发生的以及预防作用，81230016）、国家重点研发计划精准医学研究重点专项（西北区域自然人群队列研究，2017YFC0907200）。
