RDS
RDS: Stata module for respondent driven sampling
Respondent-driven sampling is a technique to sample networked populations. It shares some similarities with snowball sampling but also requires estimates of network size (degree) and information about who recruited whom. Importantly, Markov chain theory makes it possible to compute sampling probabilities. This program implements Heckathorn's original estimator and the Volz-Heckathorn estimator.
