昆明医科大学公共卫生学院

学院概况：

昆明医学院公共卫生学院前身为筹建于1978年的卫生系，1979年卫生学专业招生，1989年更名为预防医学系，2001年撤系组建公共卫生学院。公共卫生学院实行院、系管理模式，设有5个系：流行病与卫生统计学系、环境卫生与职业医学系、营养与食品科学系、社区卫生系/儿少与妇幼卫生系、卫生事业管理与卫生经济系；3个中心：预防医学实验中心、预防医学培训中心、云南省全科医学培训中心；2个办公室：党政办公室、学生工作办公室；1个研究所：健康研究所。

学院拥有一支治学严谨、责任感强、专业知识扎实、教学特色鲜明，并具有很好的团结协作精神的年富力强的教学团队。现有专任教师74人，其中博士生导师2人，硕士生导师20人；教授13人，副教授23人；拥有博士学位11人，硕士学位43人。专任教师中有国家教育部骨干教师1人，云南省中青年学科技术带头人2名，云南省中青年学科技术带头人后备人才3人，云南省高等学校教学科研带头人1人，“西部之光”培养计划人才1人。 公卫人

学科建设： 公卫人

学院现有“社会医学与卫生事业管理”1个二级学科硕士学位授权点，并获得国务院学位委员会批准的MPH学位授予权，2010年被批准为公共卫生与预防医学一级学科硕士学位授权点，2011年公共卫生与预防医学一级学科博士点获得省级立项建设。经过三十余年的不懈努力，公共卫生学院现已成为云南省公共卫生人才最重要的培养基地，并与云南省疾病预防控制中心建立了研究生教育创新联合培养基地。 公卫论坛

目前学院设有预防医学、公共事业管理、卫生检验等3个本科专业，其中，预防医学专业为云南省普通高校重点建设专业和云南省普通高校特色建设专业。

公卫人

秉承“情系边疆、开放通连、勤求博采、德济众生”的办学理念，按照“人文素质+专业素质+职业素质”的人才培养模式，到目前为止，公共卫生学院共为国家培养输送了1600多名本专科生和硕士研究生，遍布于海内外。他们心系边疆，扎根基层，优秀人才层出不穷，许多人在国家和省地县等各级疾病预防控制、卫生监督、食品与药品监督、海关检疫、商检、环境卫生、医院、医学科研院所和卫生行政部门等机构担任业务骨干与领导工作。他们现已成为云南省公共卫生战线的主要技术力量，在促进和保护云南各族人民健康方面发挥着重要的作用。

科学研究：

近五年（2004-2008）有科研项目83项（其中国家自然科学基金4项），科研经费达1134.9万元。2008年，我院科研项目中标12项（其中国家自然科学基金1项，省科技厅-昆医联合专项2项）；发表论文50篇（其中4篇被SCI收录），主编或参编教材8部，出版译著1部；获云南省科技进步三等奖2项、国家版权2项。

　　School of Public Health was founded in 1979，it was formerly known as Hygiene Department of Kunming Medical University (KMU). In 1989，it was renamed as Department of Preventive Medicine．With the developments of KMU，Department of Preventive Medicine was renamed as School of Public Health in 2001．There are 3 specialities at the school，Preventive Medicine and hygiene inspection and Health Service Management for undergraduates and the later speciality was set up in 2002．Preventive medicine is the core constructive speciality of institutions of higher learning in Yunnan Province and is also the characteristic constructive speciality of institutions of higher learning in Yunnan Province．The school has 5 master degree programs，which are Epidemiology and Health Statistics，Social Medicine and Health Service Management，Occupational and Environmental Health，Child-adolescent and Maternal Health, Hygiene Toxicology. Additionally, the school offers master degree of public health（MPH）．School of Public Health has been the most important institute of public health training in Yunnan Province，and also been the joint base for postgraduate education between KMU and Yunnan Center for Disease Control and Prevention. 公卫考场

Up to now，over 1600 students have graduated from School of Public Health.
