FAIR原则

FAIR是findability, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability的缩写（常会译作可找寻、可访问、可交互和可再用）。2016年3月被提出，称FAIR是“科学数据管理的指导原则”，而使用FAIR作为首字母缩略词，使概念更方便讨论。 公卫考场

一个良好的数据库应该具备以下特征：

1. Findable - enhanced metadata makes it clear what is in the dataset, who funded it, and where to access it.
2. Accessible - having a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for your research data means it is easy to access the data.
3. Interoperable - using standards to describe and reference data allows it to interoperate with other applications or workflows.
4. Reusable - other researchers can use your data to make new discoveries.
